CHICAGO, IL (January 7, 2019) — The Make and Deepen Disciples (MDD) mission priority is accepting applications for the newly created position of director of discipleship.
The position will oversee three areas:
- Develop a coaching system for churches to design their own intentional discipleship pathways. The person will work with others on the MDD team to advance discipleship efforts across all ages, including specialized areas such as spiritual direction, worship, and prayer.
- Cast a vision and provide leadership for multiple church-wide discipleship initiatives.
- Help develop curriculum. The director will convene teams to create new discipleship resources and experiences to strengthen the entire church. Embrace is a recent example.
