WASHINGTON, DC (February 8, 2010) – Former North Park University professor and Covenanter Robert Boncy, who led the school’s first mission trips to his native Haiti, is now helping coordinate the U.S. government’s recovery efforts in the decimated country, where he lost two relatives.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (February 8, 2010) – The Northwest Conference’s Founder’s Day worship service will be held at 6 p.m. February 21 at First Covenant Church. The evening’s theme is “Growing together in mercy,” and the service will have a special emphasis on responding with prayer and giving to the people of Haiti.
BRANDON, SD (February 8, 2010) – Pat and Marge McClanahan started their coffee roasting business as a way to pay for their seminary education. That hasn’t worked out, but it is helping to fund an orphanage in Haiti as well as other mission work around the world.
