Gather 2026 – Covenant Annual Meeting

Where one another
comes alive.

June 25–27, 2026 Scottsdale, Arizona 141st Annual Meeting

All year long we’ve been living out Scripture’s beautiful invitation — One Another. Gather is where that comes alive. Where we step into the same room, open God’s word, and remember that we were never meant to do this alone.

A historic milestone: Gather 2026 commemorates 50 years since the Covenant Church began ordaining women as pastors. Join us as we celebrate this landmark moment together.

Early Registration closes May 15 •  Hotel booking deadline: May 29

Who Should Attend

Everyone Has a Place at Gather

The Annual Meeting is the highest legislative body of the Evangelical Covenant Church. During Gather, the entire Covenant family comes together to worship God, welcome new churches, ordain and consecrate ministers and global personnel, select leaders, and make important decisions about our shared mission and ministry.

Every congregation is entitled to representation — and every attendee gets to strengthen old friendships and make new ones along the way. Whether you represent your congregation or are simply part of the Covenant family, there’s a registration type for you.

Delegates

Official church representatives with full voice and vote in business sessions. Named by their sending congregation.

General Conferees

Any adult participant who isn’t a delegate. May observe business sessions and attend all worship services.

Ministerium Members

Credentialed Covenant clergy attending the Ministerium business session on Thursday, June 25.

Evening Worship
All evening worship sessions are open to the public — no registration required to attend. Sessions will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

Delegate process

Three Steps to Register as A Delegate

Every congregation is entitled to representation. Here’s how to get your delegates credentialed and registered.

1

Complete the Annual Statistical Report (ASR)

Your church’s 2025 membership data determines how many delegates you can send. The ASR gathers critical information such as attendance, membership, baptisms, income, and giving. The ASR portal uses new login credentials mailed in November 2025—previous credentials will not work.

From the Covenant Bylaws, Article VII, Section 7.4, member congregations shall be entitled to representation as follows (based on data from the Annual Statistical Report from December 2025):

  • 0–99 members: 2 delegates
  • 100–224 members: 3 delegates
  • 225–449 members: 4 delegates
  • 450–699 members: 5 delegates
  • 700–999 members: 6 delegates
  • 1,000+ members: 7 delegates

2

Register and credential your delegates

Each church delegate to the Annual Meeting must be a member of their church and may represent only one entity. In addition to registering, all delegates must be officially credentialed by their church using the credential form below.

The Church Chair and Church Secretary are the primary credentialing officers. If either role is vacant, another church leader may sign the credential form, as long as they can verify the delegates’ membership and both signatures do not belong to the delegates.

Credentials should be submitted by May 30, 2026 or promptly after any June registrations. Any questions about the credentialing process should be directed to events@covchurch.org.

Prior to moving to the USA, I was a professor at the National University of Colombia and served with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Colombia for 16 years. Starting in 2001, I served as InterVarsity National Staff in the USA. I have a master’s degree in Christian Ministries, and I serve in Spiritual Direction to those who want to be fully present and available to God and receive His grace over them. My joy is to see professors and college students coming to know Jesus and being transformed into people that bring the good news of righteousness and justice to others.
