2023 Global 6K for Water

Six kilometers is the average distance a person in the majority world walks for water. On May 20 walk or run the Global 6K in your neighborhood for clean water in northwest DR Congo. To learn more about hosting the Global 6K at your church or own neighborhood, contact us today.
If you are ready to register, click below. Be sure to use a team name that includes your church name or CKC. Any funds raised by Covenant churches across the US and Canada will be designated to our partnership.
Are you from a church in Canada? Covenant churches in Canada are also encouraged to participate in 2023. Due to differences in national holidays, the Canadian 6K is hosted on a different date. To learn more, contact our office at covenantkidscongo@covchurch.org.

Launch Kit
After you register, look for your Global 6K launch kit in the mail, complete with a large poster, Covenant Kids Congo postcards and small posters, and the Church Planning Guide. Individual participants will receive a Global 6K T-shirt and a Covenant Kids Congo 6K race bib in the mail after they register.

How to Run a Team World Vision Endurance Race for Covenant Kids Congo
Want to go even farther? Run an endurance race for Covenant Kids Congo through Team World Vision! Follow the steps below.
1) Go to TeamWorldVision.org and search for events in your area. Sign up for a race. Follow the Team World Vision training plan to prepare for your race, and check out the fundraising tips. If there isn’t an event listed in your area, you can sign up for a DIY race.
2) Email Covenant Kids Congo to ensure that your fundraising is designated for Congo. If you’re signing up with your church, only your church team needs to contact Covenant Kids Congo. (It also helps to put “Covenant” or “CKC” in your team name so we can easily find you.) If you’re signing up as an individual on your own, please email us so we can make sure to count you for Covenant Kids Congo!
