Offering of Letters to End Hunger Set for Annual Meeting

ST. PAUL, MN (June 4, 2010) – Those attending the 125th Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church will have an opportunity to participate in an Offering of Letters to express support for a call to end world hunger.

Chile Churches Helping Neighbors Rebuild Lives

DICHATO, CHILE (April 23, 2010) – The high-pitched grind of a chainsaw, mixed with the rhythmic pounding of hammers driving nails, echoed through the tent walls in the refugee camp on a hillside overlooking Dichato, Chile. It is the sound of the Evangelical Covenant Church at work to help victims of the February 27 earthquake (magnitude 8.8) and tsunami, which together claimed at least 570 lives.
