CROMWELL, CT (January 5, 2012) – The East Coast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church is seeking recommendations for someone to serve in a newly created position as director of congregational vitality.

The full-time position will enable the conference to better resource pastors and congregations seeking to revision and revitalize their ministries, says superintendent Howard Burgoyne.

“The search process will be ongoing until a suitable candidate is secured,” Burgoyne says. The Conference Board will assist in the interview and discernment process.

“There is a preference for an ordained Covenant minister,” says Burgoyne. “We are looking for someone with proven ability to lead, coach, inspire, and collaborate with others in demonstrated partnership with the Holy Spirit.”

All inquiries and recommendations should be directed to Burgoyne, who says all information that is received will be held in confidence.
