UNITE 2027

JULY 18 - 23, 2027 | University of Nebraska

Get ready for five unforgettable days of powerful worship, dynamic youth sessions, heartfelt prayer, high-energy activities, and meaningful service. Unite is more than an event—it’s a formative gathering that invites students into deeper faith, shared life, and God’s work in the world.

Unite is the triennial youth conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church—a week where students from across the Covenant come together to worship Jesus, grow in faith, and discover what it means to follow Christ in community.

Rooted in Scripture and shaped by the life of the church, Unite creates space for teaching, prayer, service, and joy. Designed to deepen faith and strengthen relationships, the week calls students not only to belong—but to be sent.

We are grateful for the opportunity to gather from across the country and to be invited as guests to a university campus. To truly unite together and honor people and places at Unite, please observe the following practices:

  • Treat everyone including leading leaders, Unite staff, and volunteers with respect, dignity, and honor, as they are also people made in God’s image. Also, respect the property and belongings of others.
  • No guys on girls’ dorm floors and vice versa.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, drugs, and weapons are absolutely prohibited.
  • Everyone must be in their dorms by the designated “In Dorm Time.”
  • Adhere to the schedule. Be where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be there. If students need to leave campus, they must be accompanied by an adult; those staying behind must have an adult present.
  • During sessions, stay in your assigned seating and follow the posted seating chart.
  • Do not leave the arena once the session begins.
  • Respect the campus—no TP, water balloons, shaving cream, sidewalk chalk, etc. No practical jokes.
  • Do not move furniture. You will be charged for any assessed damage.
  • Do not dial 911 unless it is a true emergency.
  • Absolutely no fireworks at any time during Unite or while on campus property.

The Unite leadership reserves the right to send any participants home who violate these practices.

Prior to moving to the USA, I was a professor at the National University of Colombia and served with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Colombia for 16 years. Starting in 2001, I served as InterVarsity National Staff in the USA. I have a master’s degree in Christian Ministries, and I serve in Spiritual Direction to those who want to be fully present and available to God and receive His grace over them. My joy is to see professors and college students coming to know Jesus and being transformed into people that bring the good news of righteousness and justice to others.
