Memorial Service Planned for Pembroke Taylor

BATAVIA, IL (March 21, 2012) – A memorial service for retired Evangelical Covenant Church pastor Pembroke Taylor, 83, will be held at Batavia Covenant Church at 11 a.m. March 31. Taylor died March 13.

Taylor was born November 28, 1928, in Syracuse, New York. He married Grace Dahlstrom on August 11, 1956. She survives.

Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Roosevelt University and graduated Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as a chaplain with the Light Bearers mission at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
