Memorial Service Conducted for Sue Enns

SAN DIEGO, CA (January 11, 2013) – A memorial service for Sue Enns, 88, wife of retired Evangelical Covenant missionary Marlan Enns, was conducted January 5 at Mount Miguel Covenant Village. She died January 2.

Enns was born September 30, 1924, to Nels and Tone Jensen and was raised in Racine, Wisconsin. She graduated with a degree in Christian education from Moody Bible Institute.

She married Dale Hendrickson in 1948. The couple served as missionaries in Ecuador and Panama with HCJB Global. The couple later managed Covenant Palms Retirement Village.

Dale Hendrickson died in 2005. Sue married Marlan Enns in 2006.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ginger Darval and Jean Wallace; and a son, Dan Hendrickson.
