CHICAGO, IL (February 20, 2013) – John Teter, pastor of Fountain of Life Covenant Church and evangelism team leader for the Evangelical Covenant Church, will present the 2013 Westerdahl lectures February 26 in Nyvall Hall on the campus of North Park Theological Seminary.
He will present “Thirst” based on John 7:37-39 at 9 a.m. The second lecture, “Sent,” is based on John 20:19-21 will be given at 10:45 a.m.
Teter served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for 12 years at the University of Southern California, California State-Dominquez Hills, and Compton College.
In 2007, Teter and his family planted Fountain of Life Covenant Church (FOL), a multiethnic church in Long Beach, California.
Teter was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Korean and Dutch parents. He gave his life to Christ while attending UCLA after attending an evangelistic Bible study.
Teter has written two books, Get the Word Out, and Jesus & the Hip Hop
