Funeral Services Held for Lois Axelson

NORTHBROOK, IL (June 17, 2013) – Funeral services for Lois Axelson, widow of Nils G. Axelson, were held at Northbrook Covenant Church on Friday. She died June 9.

Axelson, 87, was born December 28, 1925, in Odebolt, Iowa.

She married Nils G. Axelson in 1952. He died in 1999.

Nils Axelson’s four decades of service to the Covenant included serving as administrator for Swedish Covenant Hospital and chief executive officer of Covenant Ministries of Benevolence.

Survivors include a daughter, Carola Walls. Memorials may be sent to Northbrook Covenant Church for its benevolence fund.
