GREENSBORO, NC (February 12, 2014) — David Bowden, 47, associate pastor at Trinity Covenant Church, died Tuesday of an apparent heart attack.

Services are pending.

He was born July 17, 1966, in Greensboro. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and a master’s of divinity from Liberty Baptist University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

He married Susan Cash on November 2, 1992.

He served as senior pastor of Mt. Bethel Christian Church, a Covenant congregation, in Summerfield, North Carolina, before serving at Trinity.

Survivors include his wife and two children.
