Free Webinar on Depression, Grief, and Hope During Holidays

CHICAGO, IL (November 5, 2015) — North Park Seminary is presenting a free, one-hour webinar on Monday, November 16 entitled, “Not So Happy Holidays? Depression, Grief and Hope in Festive Season.” The intended audience includes the person in the pew as well as the pastors and chaplains who supports care-seekers.

Seminary professor Elizabeth Pierre hosts the webinar from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. (central). The webinar will be streamed through the ECC’s YouTube channel. No registration, login, or password is required, just click the link and start watching.

There will be a moderator so online participants will be able to submit questions by text during the webinar. The moderator will then ask the questions on their behalf.

Funding for this event was made through a generous grant from the Good Shepherd Initiative (GSI), a ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Other events are in planning stages. Congregations or individuals who wish to support GSI may donate tax-deductible checks made out to “Evangelical Covenant Church” with a cover note and annotation in the memo section “For Good Shepherd Initiative” and mail them to:
