Belgium Missionaries Cautious but Feel Safe

CHICAGO, IL (November 21, 2015) – Covenant missionaries in Belgium, Steve and Barb Swanson, said today that they feel safe but are being cautious during the ongoing search for suspects in the Paris terrorist attacks.

The Belgian government has raised the threat level for the country to its highest level, which indicates a “serious and immediate threat.” The government also shut down the subway system, canceled sporting events, and warned residents to avoid crowded places.
