Funeral Held for Mother of Quadruplets

PAPILLION, NE (February 14, 2017) – This morning a funeral was held for Tina Moore, 36-year-old mother of quadruplets and daughter-in-law of Covenant pastor Rich Moore and his wife, Mimi. Tina died Tuesday, February 7, of undetermined causes.

Rich Moore, pastor of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Sloan, Iowa, wrote on Facebook that he is grateful for the outpouring of support he has received from Covenanters and others.

The eight-year-old quadruplets were born in January 2009. Jack, Joseph, Grace, and Noah had been dubbed the “quad squad.” The Omaha World-Herald did a series of stories on the family during the first-five years of the children’s lives.

The service was held at the Wildewood Christian Church in Papillion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
