Annual Statistical Report

Each year all Covenant churches are asked to complete the Annual Statistical Report (ASR) as part of our 3StrandStrong partnership. This simple report gathers critical information from churches such as attendance, membership, baptisms, income, and giving.

Here are just a few ways the information you provide is used:

  1. Helps to create an annual record of activity of the ministry of the Covenant. The information is collected in the Covenant Yearbook, which is the historical record of the Evangelical Covenant Church. The first yearbook dates back to 1885.
  2. Church profiles depicting helpful statistical trends for each Covenant congregation are created with the information and are available through your conference.
  3. Our 3StrandStrong partnership invites churches to consider a tithe of 6.5% to the denomination and 3.5% to the conference. The 3StrandStrong percentage giving is calculated with information from the ASR and mailed to each church in the Fall recognizing the importance of the generosity of the local church to 3StrandStrong.
  4. Membership information is used to determine delegate registration and church credentialing for participation in Gather, the Covenant’s Annual Meeting, which is the highest authority of the Covenant.
  5. The Evangelical Covenant Church operates as a 501-c3 organization. Information from the ASR is used to demonstrate compliance.

ASR Portal

The ASR gathers information in a two-step process.
  • STEP 1 November 2024. Track and record attendance.

  • STEP 2 January 1-March 1, 2025. Input membership, baptisms, income, giving, and personnel contact information.

Please use the link below to input all your church’s data. Your church’s login credentials for the new ASR portal will be mailed out in November 2024, previous credentials will not work on the new portal. The portal allows you to save your answers and return later to complete the form. Simply return to the portal using the link below with your credentials.

ASR Support

If you have technical difficulties or questions regarding any of the data points, reach out:

The more churches who complete the ASR, the better and more accurate information we have to reflect the collective ministry of the Covenant.

Thank You

Thank you for providing accurate data. Together we can use this information to make more informed ministry decisions locally and at the conference and denominational levels. Your prayers, giving, engagement, and sharing of information like this contribute to our effectiveness and efficiency in mission together.

Deeper in Christ. Further in Mission. Together.

Prior to moving to the USA, I was a professor at the National University of Colombia and served with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Colombia for 16 years. Starting in 2001, I served as InterVarsity National Staff in the USA. I have a master’s degree in Christian Ministries, and I serve in Spiritual Direction to those who want to be fully present and available to God and receive His grace over them. My joy is to see professors and college students coming to know Jesus and being transformed into people that bring the good news of righteousness and justice to others.
