Promoting Financial Wellness
The Covenant Financial Leadership Initiative (CFLI) provides assistance for credentialed Covenant ministers to overcome financial distress. The goal of the CFLI is to cultivate a culture of ministerial excellence by improving ministers’ financial literacy and management skills. This in turn transforms ministers’ fiscal leadership of the churches under their leadership and care.

We bring together open, curious, and credentialed Covenant pastors to cultivate a culture of excellence that takes charge of their own and their congregation’s financial health with a ministry and supportive peer community dedicated to the goal of financial resilience and the path out of debt and distress so that we can each fully realize our calling and purpose with financial stability and lead confidently by example.
Our Initiatives
Jump Start Personal Finance Retreat
The primary facet of CFLI is a personal finance retreat, titled Jump Start, for ministerial couples or singles. This interactive retreat takes a formational, devotional, and practical look at personal finances and identifies tools to help build spending plans that invite impact.
Congregational Financial Leadership Training
National Covenant Properties offers financial and real estate training sessions intended for church pastors, treasurers, staff, and church leaders. This seminar provides tools to help churches deliver good financial reporting, build healthy and missional financial practices, and understand essential core topics from ministerial compensation to fraud protection.
Creating a Culture of Generosity
A vibrant congregational cohort experience will examine the changing dynamics of Christian giving, explore what this means for the local church, and identify how to adapt to cultivate generosity and catalyze potential in the local context.

JumpStart Personal Finance Retreat
April 2024
April 22, 25, 29 | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Central
During this personal finance retreat, participants will assess their financial health, identify personal money beliefs and how they impact financial choices, and develop a financial planning action list. This interaction is in a Monday/Thursday/Monday retreat format. It is for singles and married couples.

Covenant Outsourced Accounting
What is Outsourced Accounting?
Outsourced accounting is a third-party service that provides all of your accounting needs without the expense of hiring an employee. The Covenant Outsourced Accountants provide many accounting functions using the cash or accrual methods of accounting.
