Immersive Learning Experiences

Immersive Learning Experiences are transformative opportunities that invite us to step beyond the confines of our daily routines and unite with fellow believers to explore the Purposeful Narrative woven through the lives of our neighbors and God’s unwavering sovereignty, even amidst tumultuous times.

About

Immersive Learning Experiences lead participants into sacred spaces where God’s divine presence has breathed life into darkness, and where the Spirit has stirred a multitude of witnesses to engage in the redemptive work of Christ. These immersive encounters equip participants to serve as ambassadors of reconciliation and understand how to love their neighbors tangibly.

These experiences can help bridge the gap between evangelism and justice by skillfully harmonizing the Great Commission and the Greatest Commandment. As a result, participants are equipped and empowered to serve as repairers of the breach within their congregations and communities.

Journey to Mosaic

Journey to Mosaic is a multicultural ministry initiative led by the regional conferences of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Designed to contextualize the Sankofa concept, it offers participants a powerful opportunity to explore the historical and present-day injustices impacting the ethnic communities within each conference. Prior to moving to the USA, I was a professor at the National University of Colombia and served with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Colombia for 16 years. Starting in 2001, I served as InterVarsity National Staff in the USA. I have a master’s degree in Christian Ministries, and I serve in Spiritual Direction to those who want to be fully present and available to God and receive His grace over them. My joy is to see professors and college students coming to know Jesus and being transformed into people that bring the good news of righteousness and justice to others.
