Expansion Planned for Covenant Village of Cromwell
CROMWELL, CT (February 14, 2019) – A $48 million expansion at Covenant Village of Cromwell (CVOC) will include 54 one- and two-bedroom apartments and a new Town Center.
The Town Center will include three dining venues, an art studio, wellness center, and event center. So far, 87 percent of the new apartments have been sold.
Groundbreaking ceremonies are scheduled for Thursday, February 21. Participants will include Terri Cunliffe, Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC) president and chief executive officer, and Cromwell mayor Enzo Faienza.
Construction is expected to begin in March with completion anticipated in fall 2020.
CVOC was built in 1964. “The expansion represents our long-standing commitment to serving older adults in the Cromwell area by providing quality housing and amenities to create a better way of life,” Cunliffe said.
