Covenant World Relief partners with local churches and organizations to respond to refugees from:

South Sudan
  • Refugees from South Sudan are fleeing to Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. CWR has a strong partnership with the Evangelical Covenant Church of South Sudan and Ethiopia who is responding to many aspects of refugee care, including education and medical care for vulnerable and orphaned children, vocational training for widows, and peacemaking workshops for tribal leaders.

Central African Republic
  • Refugees from CAR are fleeing to Cameroon and DR Congo. CWR partners are helping these refugees learn new agricultural practices to produce sustainable food sources. CAR refugees are also starting other small businesses like soap making to help provide for their families and improve health.
DR Congo
  • Refugees from DR Congo are fleeing to Kenya. Serve Globally partners with the Evangelical Covenant Church in Kenya to provide education for Congolese refugee children.
