Antiracism Discipleship Pathway

The Antiracism Discipleship Pathway (ADP) is a comprehensive, yearlong program designed to deepen your understanding of racial righteousness through a series of personal assessments, books, films, videos, spiritual practices, and praxis exercises. Organized thematically around racial/ethnic heritage months, the ADP connects participants with the lived experiences of their Covenant sisters and brothers, enhancing communal bonds within the faith community.

Who Should Join?

Covenant leaders who hold a credential, are pursuing credentialling within the Covenant, or hold a clerical position within a Covenant institution (i.e., chaplains, camp staff, global personnel, retired ministers, spiritual directors, North Park University (NPU)/North Park Theological Seminary (NPTS) professors, etc.).

Cost and Subsidies

The cost to participants for the pathway is $150. This amount only covers a fraction of what the pathways will offer you, from personal assessments to personalized content from national leaders, to a Midwinter gathering, to exclusive ADP immersive discipleship offerings. Love Mercy Do Justice, NPTS, and the Covenant Ministerium are subsidizing the remaining cost as an investment in your leadership. Beyond this minimal fee, you will also be purchasing a few books and resources for pathway content.

If money is a hindrance, please email Dominique.Gilliard@covchurch.org for scholarship opportunities.

  • Engage in 1-2 hours of independent study weekly, alternating between books and multimedia resources.
