Go:Serve a New NWC Mission Opportunity

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (February 10, 2014) — Families from churches around the Northwest Conference will have the opportunity to minister and learn together at the first-ever “Go:Serve” event to be held April 26.

Families will meet at Redeemer Covenant Church in the morning and then fan out across the city to ministry sites that include Feed My Starving Children, Brooklyn Park Area Youth Food Shelf, ARC Value Village, and the Sandwich Project. They will end the day with worship at Redeemer.

The event is targeted for families with children in pre-K through upper elementary school. Resources will be provided so families can learn together, debrief, and reflect on the experience.

Cost is $10 per family plus a donation for the youth food shelf. Registration packets have been mailed to churches but can also be downloaded. For more information and to download material click here.
