SAN JOSE, CA (MAY 8, 2014) — The funeral service for Covenant pastor William Waters, 58, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Alum Rock Church. He died April 12.
William was born October 14, 1955. He attended Long Beach State University and Condie College. He played basketball at Long Beach State and was offered a chance to try out for the Golden State Warriors, but he declined because he believed it would interfere with raising his children.
He married Karen Henderson on February 5, 1994.
William is survived by his wife and his children, Yolanda Garrett, Monique Garrett, Tarha Waters, Marquis Waters, and Krista Waters.
