Applications Open for Children’s Ministry Grants

PRINCETON, IL (December 13, 2017) — Covenant Children’s Ministries (CCM) is accepting applications for their Mission and Ministry Grant Program, which provides financial resources to Covenant churches with programs that work with young people who are at risk economically, educationally and emotionally.

The applications and additional information are now available online.

The Covenant’s Children Home was dedicated in 1921 and operated until 2000, when it closed due to a decline in state funding. At its peak in the late 1990s Covenant Children’s Home employed nearly 200 people on the campus and had an annual budget of $5 million. Throughout its history it cared for 1,700 children.

Although the residential program closed, the campus is now home to multiple organizations and agencies dedicated to improving the lives of children.
