CHICAGO, IL (May 11, 2018) – A new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed recently will strengthen the ministry between the Paul Carlson Partnership and the Covenant Church of Congo (CEUM) as they serve the people of DR Congo, said Renée Hale, executive director of the Paul Carlson Partnership.
“Over the more than 50-year history of the Paul Carlson Partnership, leaders on both sides of the ocean have forged the way together to guide projects in medical and economic development,” Hale said. “This new MOU builds on that work by clarifying processes and priorities as the CEUM addresses needs in the African nation and the ways PCP can best co-labor with them.”
Signers at the ceremony were Hale; Jules Mboka, president of the Covenant Church of Congo, and Al Tizon, executive minister of Serve Globally.
The signing took place at the recent PCP Board of Directors meeting in late April. The ceremonial signing was followed by a festive evening meal.
