Goduti Named Ädelbrook President, CEO

CROMWELL, CT (November 26, 2018) — Ädelbrook Behavioral & Developmental Servicesas selected Alyssa Goduti to be its new president and CEO.

Goduti has nearly 20 years of leadership, advocacy, and business development experience in Connecticut’s nonprofit human service sector. Most recently, she served as the president and CEO of the Connecticut Council of Family Service Agencies, a statewide association of human service providers that collectively serves more than 180,000 people and employs 5,000 staff with total funding of over $250 million.

She previously served as the vice president for business development and communications at Community Health Resources and as the vice president for public policy of the Connecticut Community Providers Association (now the CT Nonprofit Alliance).

“Alyssa brings a combination of passion and expertise for nonprofits, proven leadership abilities and is also a local community member from Cromwell,” said Howard Burgoyne, co-chair of the Ädelbrook Board of Directors and superintendent of the ECC East Coast Conference. “She impressed the search committee with her extensive knowledge of nonprofit administration, development, and government relations.”

Ädelbrook was founded in 1900 by the Swedish Evangelical Covenant Church and opened as the Swedish Christian Orphanage with a purpose to “provide a home for homeless and neglected children.” It later became the Children’s Home of Cromwell.

Ädelbrook is a multi-service agency specializing in behavioral and developmental services. it is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of families and individuals, of all ages, as they relate to intellectual/developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. “

It was affiliated with the East Coast Conference of the ECC until 2000, when it became affiliated with Covenant Ministries of Benevolence.
