CHICAGO, IL (November 7, 2018) – Applications for the position of executive minister of the Love Mercy Do Justice (LMDJ) ministry priority are due Saturday
LMDJ seeks to serve congregations and conferences through collaborative efforts within and across the ECC’s mission priorities, with other ministry partners, and initiatives of its own. That service includes empowering and mobilizing Covenant congregations, ministries, and leaders as they raise awareness and effect practical change.
LMDJ is defined in the ECC Bylaws as “walking humbly with God to address hurts and the causes of those hurts.” More information on the scope of the ministry can be found on its website.
The executive minister is elected every four years at the Annual Meeting following a process that includes approval by the Executive Board.
