EAGLE RIVER, AK (December 21, 2018) – A local TV news station broadcast an extended feature on Community Covenant Church and the way it responded to the needs of its neighbors after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake shook the area on November 30.
Two medical offices and a nonprofit that assists children with special needs and behavioral issues have temporarily relocated to the church’s building. The office of Northern Anesthesia & Pain Medicine is set up in the church’s “family room,” and physician Heath McAnally expects it will be a resident there for about two months.
The reporter notes, “Community Covenant Church is certainly living up to its name.”
