17 Churches Removed from the Roster

Executive Board member John Stewart prayed for churches removed from the roster, saying, “We thank you for the lives touched by these congregations.”

Delegates voted to approve the voluntary removal of 17 churches from the roster of churches at the 135th Annual Meeting today.

Lost Lake Covenant Church
Stephenson, Michigan
The church joined the Covenant in 1947 and had four members when it closed.

Ninth Hour Covenant Church/New Creation Covenant Church
Chicago, Illinois
The church joined the Covenant in 2015 and had 20 members when it closed.


East Coast Conference

Evangelical Covenant Church
New Haven, Connecticut
The church was organized in 1887 and had 12 members when it closed.


Great Lakes Conference

Faith Community Church
Youngstown, Ohio
The church joined the Covenant in 2009 and had 42 members when it closed.

Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church
Caledonia, Michigan
The church joined the Covenant in 1991 and had 29 members when it closed.
