CHICAGO, IL (May 10, 2019) – A video outlining key proposed changes to the Covenant Pension Plan and their implications for ministers as well as local churches is now posted online.
The changes will be voted on at Gather, the Covenant Annual Meeting in Omaha, Nebraska. The meeting will be held June 27-29.
“We trust that this summary video will help provide further understanding of the context of our evaluation and the implications of plan changes for you,” said Paul Hawkinson, director of pensions. “This serves as an advance preview of the near-final changes to be presented at Gather.”
Final decisions will be recommended by the Board of Pensions on May 17 and affirmed by the Executive Board in June.
